Spring Open Submission Show

It's time to enter our Spring Open Submission Show "Our Walls are Your Walls".

Send in your best work and you could win our $300 Best of Show award!

Entry fee is $25 for two entries, $10 for each additional entry.
 
Entries are due by May 10 and can be dropped off at:

                 (during their normal business hours)
      
or at The Valley Photo Center, where volunteers will be available Friday May 9 from 5-7 pm and Saturday May 10 from 10 am to 2 pm.
 
Opening reception will be held on Thursday May 22 from 6-8pm.

Stu Wetherbe: Intro to Adobe Lightroom -- June 7, 14, 21  9-11 am   $125
                    This powerful image processing program for photographers is
                    gaining a large and growing following. It allows you to process
                    and catalog your digital photos quickly and easily.
 
Gene LaFord: Framing --May 24   12pm-2pm    $30
                   Learn how to professionally present your work for exhibition.
 
Rich Novak: Intro to My New Camera -- May 31    9-11 am    $25
                What are all those buttons on my new camera and what do they
                do? Come learn in this fun filled seminar and make sense of all
                those gadgets.
 
Matt Harrison: Legal issues -- May 29   7-9 pm     $60
                    Attorney Matt Harrison packs loads of information into this 2
                    hour seminar. Participants will take home a packet of
                    information regarding all the legal issues a photographer needs
                    to know in this digital age.
 
Christine Pratt : Taking Better Pictures -- June 5,12,19   7-9 pm     $125
                      Learn how to "see" a photograph. This class covers basic
                      composition, combining aperture and shutter speed, metering,
                      and what makes a good photograph. Students will learn
                      how to see with a photographer's eye.
