The Valley Portfolio is a photographic resource center dedicated to promoting photography in the Connecticut River Valley through exhibition, education and publication.

We operate an exhibition gallery on the second floor of Tower Square in downtown Springfield, where we have staged six gallery-wide exhibitions involving over 100 photographers from the region. We pay the bills by selling advertising and subscriptions for our quarterly magazine. In less than one year, Portfolio Magazine has grown from 8 pages to 28 pages. We also accept grants and donations (keep 'em coming).

The Valley Photo Center offers occasional workshops by professional photographers. The center has hosted receptions, award ceremonies, music, poetry and storytelling.
